At around 7am on Tuesday morning, a police car was speeding down the street, while a car of thugs was following behind, apparently attacking them.
He was driving with his mind on alert as he watched them through the side mirror of the car, and he was running like there was no tomorrow, his only hope was to reach the boy's school and drop him off safely, if he wanted to or if it happened to him, but he wanted to save the life of this little boy.
It was just speeding while the attention of the little boy sitting in the back of the car [who couldn't have been more than 11-12 years old] was very high.
Abdul dragged his crippled leg and turned back, looking at them through the glass with his eye, which was a single yellow pill.
Seeing the black car continuing to follow them made him turn around in horror; he opened his mouth, which was half open, and said, “For God's sake, driver, speed up, if they catch you, they will kill us.”
He spoke in a voice that was not coming out properly, due to the frustration that was building up in his mouth.
His eyes were filled with tears.
At that moment, the driver's attention reached its peak.
At that moment, they arrived at Abuja Road, a road that was quiet, due to its lack of noise.
Here they attempted to drive in front of him with their car, even though their car was speeding.
In a fit of rage, the driver pushed their car with their luggage and accelerated his car, before they realized it had reached the end of the road.
Seeing this, they ran away, and did not meet until they reached the roundabout that led to the Government House, the government house of Sokoto State.
So they stopped running, and followed him slowly, as it was a major road, so they were afraid that people would notice their intentions.
The driver, seeing an opportunity, took a roundabout route along the main road, while they took a detour along the other side, hoping to meet him in a quieter area so they could easily kidnap the child.
The driver took advantage of this opportunity and continued his journey peacefully until he reached *Abdulrashid Adisa Raji Special School Sokoto* and dropped off the child.
The others, convinced that they had lost him, looked for a place to park their car.
Their father came out and was looking for a line on his phone. After two or three rings, the call was picked up.
On the other side, Kulu, who had a bad temper, picked up her phone and called him, "Gumush, hello, you are a smart-talking, self-confident person, you have seen the Sheri hotel, your smile has spread like a star, you are so beautiful but your Sheri has grown so much, how did you do a good job?" She ended the conversation with a question.
Gumush, since she started calling him, was blowing his nose, until she stopped, and then he said, “Hajjiya, there's a problem, by God, the driver is a coward, but don't worry, I swear on my sword *Zarta*, in the future he won't be able to stop us from taking the child.”
A middle-aged woman with a wicked sense of humor pulled her aside and said, “But by God, you have embarrassed me, Gumush. Seeing your skills and your intelligence, I was not given a job, but I am the one who is responsible for what happened?”
In a drunken trance, he said, “That's enough for you, now you go find a place where I can catch you and take you to the car. Give us our change so we can separate.”
A mother of one of the girls said, “Kutuma! Be careful, my dear, even some money you talked about after you wasted, what are we planning?”
“Oh, Hajjiya! I know you have to give me a charge, because all the hardships my children and I have gone through cannot be in vain.”
He said in the Voice of the Young Men that he had apparently been anointed, all his other children were also in the hospital.
She was so angry that she didn't have the chance to say anything else. She just ignored them and turned off her phone, wondering what she would say to Hajiya now.
They got back into the car and one of the boys pulled the car over to the spot she had described to them.
